Happy May 24th - the Day of the Bulgarian Alphabet and Culture! We celebrated this significant occasion with pride. The event marked the culmination of the Bulgarian Week at BSP, a week filled with various activities and events aimed at honoring and promoting Bulgarian heritage.
One of the highlights of the celebration was the announcement of the results of our handwriting competition. This competition was divided into two categories: one for students who learn Bulgarian as their native language, and another for those who study it as a foreign language. The winners in both categories were recognized and awarded for their exceptional skills and dedication.
In keeping with the spirit of a true Bulgarian holiday, we concluded the festivities with a traditional horo dance. This lively dance not only brought joy to the participants but also served as an impromptu choreography lesson for students from other countries, giving them a taste of Bulgarian cultural traditions.
Overall, the celebration was a fitting tribute to the rich history and vibrant culture of Bulgaria, and it was heartwarming to see everyone come together to honor this special day.
