Rossita Bateman

Art teacher

Rossita is an art educator with a BA (Hons) in Art and Design from the University of Stirling, Scotland. Her international life and experiences have shaped my broad cultural perspective and creative approach to art and education. Rossita's studies in art school and university included drawing, painting, sculpture, conceptual art, installation art, art history and design, giving me a diverse foundation in both traditional and contemporary art practices.

Rossita believes, that art is not only about developing technical skills, but also about exploring ideas, experimenting and discovering individual ways of seeing and expressing the world. In her teaching she encourages curiosity, imagination and creative problem-solving, creating a space where students feel free to experiment and make mistakes. Rossita believes, that every child has a unique creative voice, and that children can also inspire us through their natural curiosity and freedom of thought.
